Beautiful Blooms

It’s been a hectic few months which has unfortunately kept me away from blogging but I’m delighted to be back today and sharing some more wedding inspirations with you!

While I was away I was not totally neglecting my duties however as I got the opportunity to whet my appetite for all things floral by attending some wonderful courses on wedding floristry at The Flower School here in Dublin.   So what better way to start back today than to share with you my favourite bridal bouquets for summer.

While the classic hand tied posy will forever be held dear to my heart, I am totally in love with the loose, unstructured, overflowing bouquets tied with a trailing ribbon that are so popular this summer.   These bouquets break all the rules associated with the traditional bouquets; any colours go and if one flower sticks up higher than another, don’t stress it, it will all just add to the beauty.  Best of all is that you can use a mix of just a few of the more expensive blooms combined with cheaper fillers and greenery to create the look.

Here is our pick of the bunch! X
